Ling Woo Liu produced and directed Officer Tsukamoto while
studying documentary filmmaking at the UC Berkeley Graduate
School of Journalism.
Ling is currently the founding director of the Korematsu Institute
for Civil Rights and Education in San Francisco. Named after the
civil rights hero Fred T. Korematsu, the Institute advances
the cause of civil rights and human rights through pan-ethnic
alliances and programs that focus on education, activism
and leadership.
Between 2006-2009, Ling was a staff reporter for TIME magazine
in Hong Kong, where she covered stories about society, culture
and business in greater China. Click here to read or watch some

television reporter in Beijing and San Francisco for several years.
